Abby Becnel

Abby Becnel is a native of Houma and graduate of Terrebonne High School. She earned her bachelor's degree from LSU and juris doctorate from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. While in law school, Abby's trial advocacy skills earned her a spot on her law school's mock trial board. 

 

After law school, Abby practiced as a criminal defense attorney in Miami, Florida for three years before moving back to Houma in 2022. Since being home Abby has tried numerous felony jury trials and obtained dismissals and not guilty verdicts for her clients.

In addition to her criminal defense work, Abby has developed a strong interest in real estate and title services. She enjoys helping clients navigate property transactions with accuracy and clarity, ensuring each closing is handled efficiently and every title is properly secured.

 

Abby is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Florida.
